The fall has turned into quite a busy time of year for our little family. This fall was no different! Birthdays, bonfires and getting ready for the holidays- I LOVE FALL!!!!! Long sleeve T's, orange, brown, chili, chicken pot pie- just a few of my favorite things. OCTOBER Lucy girl turned 4!! Her birthday meal choices were pancakes, pizza and pancakes. The girl loves her some breakfast for dinner. She really loved the card her brother made for her (still taped up in her room) and her skinny jeans and fringe boots from Jojo. Halloween '09 Woody and Rosetta I love this pic!!! My sisters took the kids to the park and they were talking about exploring. My kids posed and luckily, my sisters got a great picture. This picture is awful quality- but I love it dearly. Jason went to California for a week in October. He never travels for his job, so it was really weird. This was SO fun!! Rachel is one of my best friends from high school. I am so lucky to have such a great friend- we have stayed in touch through college, were in each others' weddings, and have had kids around the same time. Now, every summer, the kids and I drive down to visit her and she so sweetly opens her home to our craziness. Rachel's sister and sister-in-law emailed me in July saying they wanted to do something for Rachel's 30th. I can't believe we are planning 30th birthday parties!! Ahhh- how does that HAPPEN?? Anyway, I drove down with her sister-in-law Friday night and we met up with Rachel's sister and drove to Rachel's house to surprise her. She knew that her family was coming and they were going to dinner together, but she didn't know we had a whole day planned before that!! Here is the frame by frame of her reaction. Good job capturing this, Shelly!! Answering the door (she thought it was flowers being delivered because Kit was telling her to...

College Station visit

Our annual visit to the Kerbels' home was this past week. Rachel is a dear friend that I have had since the 9th grade, and our kids are pretty close in age and have formed friendships over the years. This year, the girls really hit it off. They got to be so girly together- they just loved it. And I loved the girl time I got with one of my favorite friends!! I don't think there was anything we didn't talk about- we covered it all. Our girly girls that loved to be dressed up Wrestling and whacking the ball outside Building a fort, and taking care of "baby cheetah", aka Kindle All dressed up for the grocery store Playing on their AWESOME bouncy water slide One day, we drove to Houston and went to their Children's Museum. It was definitely the coolest children's museum I have ever been to. So many different areas and things to touch, and figure out and learn.
