Claw and Antlers!

The Rangers were SO fun to watch this year! We were so excited to have tickets to the last home game of the season. The Rangers always make that a "fan appreciation" game and they give away prizes throughout the entire game. This year they added a Claw and Antler parade. The Claw and Antler movement has really spread this year! It started with somebody in the minor leagues and a Ranger brought it back to the team when they came back up.
When you make a hit, you do the "claw" once you get on base. It's like a long distance high five. The guys in the dugout are doing it and the runner does it back to them.
The antlers are when you are being "quick like a deer" and you make a play because you ran fast. After you get to the base, you do the antlers.
The Rangers said they would have a parade and you could wear your antlers and claws and walk around the field before the game. So I threw together a claw for Walker (a Hulk hand) and antlers ( a moose hat) for Lucy and we were off!
I'm so glad we did the parade! It was great for the kids to be
on the field and see it from that perspective.
