Jojo's birthday and TEETH!
At the end of July we celebrated Sydney Jo's (affectionately called Jojo) birthday. But, we had another exciting event going on that day- losing our first teeth!!! First, we met Jojo at Mama's Pizza for her birthday dinner. YUM!! She got some great stuff for college- all purple, of course!

We came back to the house for dessert. Caitlin made red velvet cake, per Jojo's request. YUM, again!!! We played Catch Phrase, Rock Band and Disney Trivia- fun game night!!!

Walker had a loose tooth (both bottom middle teeth) around July 11. We kept wiggling them every day, and just happened to have a dentist appointment about a week after that. He did GREAT at the dentist appointment, we really like this new dentist. Those two teeth were loose, but you could also see the permanent coming in behind it. The dentist said that was normal, and the new teeth would come forward once the old ones came out.

around 9:30 am, Saturday July 31
He bit down on some shorts (he said he was being silly?!!??) and noticed his tooth was even looser, so he just pulled it out! He was a little freaked out about the blood, but it stopped quickly and then he got excited. We texted everybody we could think of with a picture, and then started wiggling the other loose one. It seemed even looser now that one was gone.
In the car, about 5:30 pm, Saturday July 31
and #2 is gone!! We were in the car, and he said, "Wow!" I turned around and he was holding his tooth! Such a big boy- he pulled that one out, too!!! We got the restaurant for Jojo's birthday, and I asked for a little cup with a lid. Jason told Walker he had called the Tooth Fairy hotline, and let her know we had teeth for her to come get. Walker got 5 gold coins for his 2 first teeth.
