BE ADVISED, CLASS OF 1998...

I know, I know, who wants to think about the fact that we have been out of high school for 10 years?? But, next year is our 10 year reunion. I emailed Sherri Aaron, she is in charge of alumni relations, and told her I had been talking to some of my classmates about the reunion. She emailed me today and said, "Yes.. I will help with the planning..I want to combine your 10yr reunion with homecoming. I talked to Heidi Benda today so I am working on trying to get all of class of 1997 current. If you have any contact info on your classmates please send that to me. I am currently working on a web site and a database..
Thanks" Her email exactly. I guess she meant 1998, when she said class of 1997, because I don't really care about her trying to get class of 1997 current. ANYWAY, you can email her your current address at saaron@southwestchristian.org. Also, please, if you don't mind, post something like this on your blog, or put in a link to mine, because we want to get the word out!!

Hey Kristen!! This is Katherine Gould, and I found your blog through Maggie's...anyway, I wanted to say hello, your kids are adorable, and you look as beautiful as ever!! :)

Isn't it strange to think we have been out of high school this long? I did not even make it to Homecoming this year, and I don't think we are going to have an actual reunion-so I hope you are able to!

I have been wondering how you were, it is great to find you-I am glad you are doing so great and look forward to keeping in touch! :) Blessings~

Kristen! I found your blog through Denee. Isn't this cool how we can suddenly "keep up" with each other? I love the pics of your kiddos--they are precious. Your little boy looks so much like you!

Fun Family Weekend

Jason was off Saturday, and I was really looking forward to a family weekend. He usually works Saturdays, but when he is off and we get 2 days in a row all together, we are so happy!! Friday night he called on his way home from work, and told the kids to get dressed in their cowboy boots, we were going somewhere. The kids got so excited, and ran to their rooms. Lucy got some new cowgirl boots for Christmas (2 pairs, actually), and has been wearing them alot!! They got all dressed up in their cowboy stuff and we waited for Daddy to get home. He took us to Trail Dust Steakhouse in Arlington, and he invited my sisters, too. It was so fun!! I hadn't been there since my 16th birthday party, and the kids had a blast; sliding down the slide, dancing on the dance floor and eating yummy steak. It was such a fun night!!! What's so great about living out in the country??

Well, you find things like this in your backyard: There are lots of fun things about living "out" here and having more than an acre of land to explore. We have roadrunners, roosters, chickens, lizards (apparently!), bonfires, and lots of fun. The kids were so intrigued. Happy Spring Break to Walker and Lucy!!

This week Walker and Lucy are off from ARK School. They are actually NOT excited, they love school!! Caitlin is home this week, too, though so that is fun. We had a great weekend to end my break and kick off the kids. Saturday , we drove to a drive-in theater in Granbury. Colleen (my friend and Walker's teacher) told us about this drive-in and it was showing Horton Hears a Who!, so we decided to check it out. I am so glad there is still one around. Drive-ins are just one of those things I have great memories of and want to do with my kids. At the drive-in, with a good spot. Being comfy in our jim jammers!! Enjoying our picnic dinner. Fruit skewers, pb&j roll-ups, and cheetos!! Sunday , we had a great family lunch at mom's, then it was off to the TCU Easter Egg Hunt. The kids looked so cute, and had fun hunting eggs.
